The Ansell Glove Management Program
How Ansell's Glove Management Program works:
- Our Clinical Consultant meets personnel, completes detailed questionnaire regarding each department's usage patterns and requirements. Reviews results and draws preliminary conclusions.
- The Clinical Consultant interviews personnel with special glove needs, such as individuals with latex or chemical allergy or those performing high-risk procedures, with potential exposure to body fluids and bloodborne pathogens or chemical agents.
- The Clinical Consultant meets with personnel responsible for Employee Health & Safety. A confidential survey is prepared to provide information on special needs in relation to skin irritation/sensitisation.
- The Clinical Consultant reviews Materials Management requirements such as the ordering process, purchasing groups, storage capabilities etc.).
- The Clinical Consultant prepares and presents findings & recommendations in a confidential report to help management optimise glove use, on a department-by-department basis.
